We all thoroughly enjoyed our week in Finkle Cottage. It is a most beautiful setting and outstanding area. Ideal for walkers, or as we did traveling to nearby points of interest. We are seriously thinking of revisiting Poolely Bridge in the future.

We have just returned from a lovely 4 night break in Finkle cottage, the cottage is lovely with everything you need. The area is nice for walks around Ullswater. There are 3 pubs in Pooley Bridge that all serve nice food & also the tea rooms next to the bridge serve nice lunches, there is a post office that sells everything otherwise Penrith isn't far away if you want to go shopping. Very enjoyable & relaxing time spent at Finkle Cottage & we will return.

A great base for visiting the Lakes , right in the centre of the village with plenty of facilities including places to eat. Brilliant.
